This morning I...
(1) talked myself out of going to the pool 3 times,
(2) talked myself into going to the pool 4 times,
(3) swam my first 25 with no breath and lived to tell about it,
(4) swam seven additional 25s with only one breath and lived to tell about it,
(5) experienced the sensation of of pins and needles creeping up my legs as I tried to swim without that fancy thing called oxygen,
(6) managed to avoid peeing in the pool (...this time...),
and
(7) saw him briefly. I always imagined him to be taller.

Rockin'!
Hhmmmm, that's something I never thought about trying....interesting. Good job!
WOW. This is incredible. Way to GO!!
Nice job on the breath holders! Tell the wizard I said hi.
Now I have 'we're off to see the wizard' as an earworm
Hmm... no breath. Never tried it. Not sure I want to. :-)
It's the 4th time that counts!
My husband is trying to swim under water for 50 yards. Why? I don't know, but I'll let you know if he does it.
I just love your blog..I REALLY love to read about your new experiences and learning how to LOVE this new training plan and workouts and finding all the balance. I told Elizabeth the other day that I LOVE your blog.

I did that no breath 25 thing once as a drill to learn about my natural swimming rhythm and to try to maintain it while breathing. When you do 8 of them, do you just take one breath at the end and go again or is there a rest interval of some sort between each 25?
Sorry, just reread your post and see only one breath was taken in between laps. Wow!
